Hey guys,
does anyone have a shoe/boot in navy shell?
I am thinking about ordering maybe the blake boot or Hamilton Boot in the Navy shell and was wondering if anyone had comments/pics to show how
it has aged etc.
Thanks in advance.
I would be most interested in seeing this as well. I will almost certainly be ordering the Hamilton in Navy shell towards the end of summer/beginning of fall

I just placed an order four my 4th pair of Rancourt. This time around is an unlined boat shoe in the tan bulldog but with a navy cxl collar around the upper portion. I figure that this will be my go to shoe for the spring and summer. I thought about a loafer, but I know that I personally will get much more wear out of the boat shoe.

Those look like either #8 shell or #8 chromexcel beef roll penny loafers with the honey lactae hevea sole. There seems to be an up charge for custom orders, plus I think that sole is a bit more expensive than normal.

my wallet would appreciate it more if it was just CXL, now only if I could get into the MTO portion of their site.. page just sits and then times out

Just send them an email to get the MTO ball rolling - customerservice [at] rancourt.com. They should be able to do shell or cxl - really, whatever you want. I've been very impressed with their service and quality, and have my third pair of rancourts on the way.

I heard back from her on Tuesday... Only to tell me that they're running behind and my shoes that were supposed to be done on Monday aren't yet... Still haven't heard from them that they've been shipped.

Thanks. Got through to her and MTO #4 is now in process :)

I really wish they would add the Blake to the Made to FIt program. I would really like to order some boots but I have to do it without being able to try on the sizing and last.

thinking about grabbing the suede 3 eyelet chukka from CM. anyone have them? apologies for the sizing question: i measure a 9D on the brannock, and wear an 8.5D in alden barrie chukkas, should i go with that for the rancourts? they do in store returns, so maybe i'll order two sizes and return the one that doesn't work.
