Wings + Horns F/W 2010 - Page 48

i have a pair in black 28 and the waist is already a little big the 29's wouldn't be good for me. i think most of their clothing is good for shorter people because theres a lot of other brands that easily cater to taller people lol. i also like boo for this.

Edit: Slack, that is so disappointing, as I was thinking about copping a pair. They're so nice. Goddamnit..oh well.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

but seriously - in you tall guy's faces (n/h) - finally some pants without a 34 inseam!

slack i know what you mean, most of the time buying pants, denim, i'd have to go get them hemmed and sometimes this changes the leg opening measurement too which i don't like.

lol at this^^. The thousandth "I can't fit into BoO because I work out and anyone who can fit into it has to be a scrawny little shit" (closely related to the "I played soccer once or squatted once so I can't wear slim jeans)

I've played sports my entire life and I fit a BoO small just fine. Also yes, BoO is awesome for people under 5ft10, so? There's a thousand brands out there that are great for taller people and suck for those of average height or shorter.

Also length shorter than a t-shirt?? Where are you buying your t-shirts? Even though some of my BoO shorts are damn short (barely long enough for me at 5ft8) they're still an inch or two longer than any t-shirt I own.

The point is that BoO shirts are incredibly unforgiving. I'm determined to make it work, haha. My XXL shirts are probably going to be a bit big, but that's nothing a tailor can't fix.

The 32" inseam is actually deceiving in that it actually feels longer than it is and I think it's because of the way the pants are cut. They sit a little lower than other pants which is why I'm assuming they make the seat area so roomy.

The only pair of W+H pants I own are the corded cloth pants from this season, I'm 6'4" and wear size 33, which has a 32" inseam. I tried on the 34's, which have a 34" inseam, but they were way too big in the waist/seat, and found I didn't need the extra inseam length anyway. The 32" inseam lands right at my ankle, much like this:

Woah dude chill out. I played soccer for 11 years and all of my jeans are skinny (N&F Skinny guy, SE05BSP, etc.) so I don't know who else is saying they can't fit into skinny jeans. When I said "shorter than a tshirt" I meant it feels so short for a dress shirt that it feels shorter than a tshirt. As for "scrawny little shit" those are your words not mine.

Psydelik basically got the gist of what I was saying. Don't feel so offended Meis, no ones personally attacking you.

haha i wasn't offended. Its just you said it in poor way originally and I wanted to point that out. Probably didn't mean it as such, but it comes off as oversimplifying things and generalizing people. You could have worded it differently ex -just say it doesn't work for your particular build. Saying a brand/item "doesn't work for anyone that lifts more than a 5lb weight" is kind of unnecessary and over the top. I mentioned the jeans-soccer thing b/c its a running/inside joke here lol.

BoO for short people? Don't the mediums have 26" sleeves or something
post #716 of 799
yeah, the sleeves on the medium were ridiculous for me. had them shortened on one of my shirts.

I have a true 30" waist and 30's were too big on me just for reference. Gonna try a 29.

All of our Fall W+H stuff is now 30-40% off. Still some great pieces left like the tweed down vest, wool fleece blazer, cashmere pull over and more. As usual, feel free to hit us up if you have any questions.
