How to find another jacket like this one?

Hello, first time poster here.

My dad gave me the jacket in the photos about 20 years ago, and he bought it maybe 30 years before that. So, there’s a lot of sentimental attachment to it for me.

But also I just love the style of it. I don’t (yet) possess the vocabulary to express quite what I love about it, but I guess it’s the cut, or the hang, or the shape, or the silhouette…

Anyway, it’s a well loved jacket that I have worn pretty hard over the years, so it’s in remarkably good condition. Nonetheless it’s showing its age more and more, fraying in places and so on.

I’d love to find a newer jacket in a similar style but I don’t know where to begin. There’s so much variety in sportscoats and like I say, I lack the vocabulary. The jackets on sale in shops today seem to all be quite different so I guess the style is no longer in fashion.

If anyone has any advice on this – where to shop, what to search for on eBay, what this type of jacket might be called, anything – so I can find a nice new edition that may have no sentimental value but will be in better nick, I’d be most obliged!
