Egg me on or save me from myself. My wife and I (and the babies) will be shopping Michigan Ave. and Oak Street tomorrow and these will be in on my mind as I pop into the Paul Stuart townhouse.

I have never purchased a pair of shoes from PS; therefore, thoughts on their shoe quality in general would be appreciated. Thanks!

Monstrosity. That square broguing is pretty hideous.

I don't think it is that bad. I think that the front broguing offsets it.

A bit too much going on with the shoe for my taste.

I don't particularly like these, but am overall a big fan of Paul Stuart Choice (Grenson Masterpiece) shoes. I see thay have begun to stock shoes made by C&J as well, but it the Grenson Masterpiece are the real bargain IMHO. They were having a sale a week or so back and had a nice selection.

A particular favorite of mine that was on sale:

Also just got in as a special order:

They had these boots on sale in all black calf or in a dark brown calf/suede combo.

I don't like it but I don't think it is a monstrosity.
