I think it's just the way I'm standing as I'm leaning to the side a bit.

th is the breanish is the best one, you should wear the grey flannels with the breanish for a BoB :)

IIRC D is not short of those, esp the EG monks in DB suede

Always enjoy reading your "field trips" and reports. The Chan DB is especially

Thank your for the reports.

I've always wanted a brown/ camel cord suit.

Yours looks great.

Can anyone tell me if either of these people travel to Australia or Taiwan for measurement and fittings?

Are there any comparable tailors in Taiwan?

Thanks for all the kind words everyone.

PG - Not sure yet when I'll be back. Possibly in late May, but there's a chance not until September. I'll keep you posted! Hope you had a smooth transition back.

I am thinking of going to Cairns for around 10 days in June and would like to get 2 DB suits made from Chan. I was thinking of stopping in HK both on my way to Cairns and on the way back as well.

On my way there I was hoping to meet Patrick and give measurements and on my way back have a fitting. In an ideal situation I would be mailed my suits to India in due course.

So, I am wondering

1. Is a single fitting enough for my first experience with Chan.

2. If it is enough is 10 days enough for Chan to do a fitting. I shall of course choose a cloth from his collection as 10 days would surely not be enough to get a cloth from a book and then get the suit ready for fitting.

If the whole thing is doable I shall contact Patrick to set it up AND sell a holiday in Cairns to my wife

Any thoughts ....

Unless it conflicts with his travel tour dates, I think Patrick should be able to get you a basted fitting when you stop in HK on the way back. Won't be able to get a full fitting though.
