Lovely shoes - In fact I dig the tan ones the most.

The price is £450 inclusive of VAT. I have been asked this question elsewhere, I have posted what I wrote below. Thanks for the kind comments all, very much appreciated!
............................

The price is as you suggest introductory and may possibly increase in the future, that said we will always offer value for money. We are driven to making shoes that people enjoy, that's the inspiration.

All customers who place orders before the end of April shall be guaranteed the same repeat price for one year from date of purchase.

All the materials used are top quality, from the fine calf's to the oak bark soles there has not nor will there ever be any compromise.
Customers, as displayed by members of the forums, know their shoes -it would be foolish of ourselves to think otherwise.

Undoubtedly, our competitors make some wonderful shoes. For people to say our shoes are comparable is flattering and very kind.
We welcome people to come to their own conclusions on the quality of our shoes and welcome any feedback, good or bad!

Kind regards,

Chay.

Very interesting, and well-priced too. Will options like metal toe taps etc. be available? What about a heretic rubber covering (but done well, flush with rest of the leather sole) such as that offered by Gaziano & Girling MTO?

Edward Green MTO starts at £690 (RTW at £585) Do not know about C&J prices but have read the upcharge for MTO is not worth it (some say £150, others have said double the shoe price)

Are you using Swiss calf for the MTO shoes?

Beautiful shoes and very well priced. What is the AS sizing similar to (JL or EG)? Never owned or tried on a pair of AS's but after seeing these pics I have to say I'm interested.
