Good old days? It's still pretty good. FW10 is hit and miss but so is just about everything, and the hits are very good hits.
ya, used to be extraordinarily lux when it came out for the first couple of years, 09 started declining so they could drop the price point lol hendrix, looks like my raf ice grey blazer let me find a pic edit- here it is

I can't be bothered with the dogpile to be honest. It's true that when i first got the KMWs i wore them way to high, but since then the waist has stretched out and i wear them much lower on the hips. Any jeans which are tight in the thigh are gonna show a bit of cock.

I accept that type of discussion when i have the shirt tucked in so people could actually see that i was wearing them quite high, but for all Teger knows my pubes could've been visible underneath my tee.

anyway, unless he's only ever watched lesbian Appreciation his whole life he shouldn't be getting irritated by *******.

I really need to expand a bit texture wise. Lanvin (shoes aside) is largely off my radar because the materials tend to be super delicate. That jacket is nice.

I have no doubt, just rock them with an all black fit and you're set. Lmaozedong posted an ann d jacket a couple days ago that could go. Yeah thinking about it it's pretty hard to use gold foil shoes, much more difficult than silver. Thinking you need to try a **** ton of different things (including things that make no sense intuitively) and see what comes of it.

normally I wouldn't bother, but dude. seriously. do you really think this? whats going on in that photo is completely unacceptable and fixing it, whether that means buying looser jeans, different cut jeans, or just sagging, should be priority #1. everyone you meet is laughing at you.

I've actually been thinking that maybe I'll add a silver layer of foil over the gold, which would be all messy and peel off, and then it would be....like...gold, underneath. Crazy. I just worry that it would look like I covered my shoes in aluminum foil.

Don't do that. They're gold now, they'll remain gold. Black underneath right? I think what I would have done if I was going to do what you did would've been to lacquer them before applying the gold, but, hindsight. As is they'll flake and be as much black as gold eventually.

Nah, they're varnished, so they're not only solidly gold, but they've also got a antiqued gloss over them. It looks pretty cool close up, actually. I'm going to put a couple more layers of varnish on before I call them complete.

Lacquering them before hand would definitely work, but you'd still have to apply a fixative/ gold leaf/ second layer of sealant, so I guess I wouldn't really see the point. I've been meaning to write up what I did; I guess I'll do that tomorrow.

Well the idea would be that the gold leaf would come off over time, so no sealant, but you were apparently going for a different thing. From the progress pics I thought you left it so the gold would wear off fairly quickly. If it's got a topcoat then that's different.

gotcha. yeah, it's still going to come off, but my goal was definitely to seal it on there as best I could. I kind of wanted the look of old enameled furniture or something.

Haha yeah I've often though that semi-dilapidated seconde empire furniture would make a good theme for a clothing collection. (8 but now that I think about it 3)
