No, but being a fat shit is just going to make you a fat shit who has a lot of work to do to cut back and look decent. I feel like slow, steady progress is a lot better (maybe that's what you guys mean by "bulking") than just piling shitty food into your mouth. I don't see any point in getting about 12% bf and even that is being lenient.
Note - I'm talking about physique goals though, which I guess isn't the primary goal of most people here.
But yea. You sound like you are still in that SW&D WAYWT mode. I hate to break it to you. But even for pure aesthetics, you have to gain muscle mass. To gain muscle mass you have to spend an appreciable amount of time in a hypercaloric state- gaining weight. In a hypercaloric state, unless you are very genetically lucky, or already really fat, you're going to increase your body fat percentage. Some people take it too far- I did. But even still, the strength gains were worth it IMO, and I'm not scared of a 6 month or even year long cut, which will by my only cut of that duration. A LOT of pro natural bodybuilders went through the same thing and do long ass cuts all the time. So it's not weird. If/when you get big you will see.
