Pulaku tested positive for something. What a bummer.
Hopefully second test proves otherwise.

If he was doping, I hope it was something serious and not one of those diuretics that are banned. That'd be a shame.

My ne gym is pretty sweet. More shut than I'd wanna use but good for the gf.

Ghr, a reverse hyper the guy made himself, fat bar, safety squat bar, bumpers, tires, sledgehammers, kegs, various grip accessories, an old van to push around, climbing walls, ropes, rings, bumpers, platform..I thought I spied a monolift but not sure or care. Kettle bells, clubs even, lol.

A few chains, no bands though. Not even a dedicated abs area which is great LOL.

About a 25min drive which is the only con.

Do monolifts have any use other then for geared lifters?

reading that gawker article keeps reminding me that what i really kinda want to do is a non-derpy version crossfit..

Downloaded a wod app but then realized all of these would aggrivate my ab strain.

again, depends entirely on context.

for a high bar olympic squat, knees will be in front of your toes, nothing wrong with that.

for a generic low bar ass squat, what you posted is correct, that's just not the only way to squat.

yeah and a shitload of lifters are out of the olympics due to testing positive. shame.

I am convinced my neck pain is related to how I sleep. Pain was in the upper right portion of my neck, parallel to my ear. Went to doctor, he suggested I stop sleeping on my stomach and start sleeping on my side. Been doing that for a week and now neck pain has migrated to the left side of my neck. WTF. I want to be able to wear ties.

You got a list of what they got busted for? Always curious to see

no idea unfortunately, likely to stay that way for a while too. iwf recently banned methylhexanamine in competition (more commonly known as jack3d for you pwo whores) so that may play a role as well.

Definitely more helpful for geared lifters but they help raw lifters too.

Walking out maximal weight is very taxing. With a monolift, you just unrack and squat when the head judge tells you to.

At my first full meet, I walked it out from the monolift but then I realized it's dumb if it's fair game to utilize it, so now I just unrack it and go at competitions. It's definitely good for a few pounds.

cognitive therapy, dude. depression sucks bigtime - i had my own personal experience with it and it takes effort in every conscious moment to fight it. the book "feeling good" by david burns is a must-read. feel free to take it to pm if you want, it is a shitty shitty thing and having been through it, it sucks to see anyone else in the same position.

My weight mysteriously shot up like 4 lbs last night, and this was even when I was on diet and after doing all my workout stuff. Weird.

I did go on creatine but I've been on it for a few days and pound water every day so I thought the increased retention would have happened by now so I don't think that's it. Maybe the last of my fat is getting squishy idk.

I've been super stressed lately, no idea why, maybe that has something to do with it.
