Cool stuff! I like more of the simpler items, but its great that you're doing these.

I have a question about the big coin buttons. They seem popular in this style of leather product. Are they made from real coins that have just been tapped in the back? Or are they just cast from molds of actual coins?

Thanks,
Ian

Everything looks great but honestly I do not like the tassle/fringey/bead things at all.

i bought the following leather chain from a designer at a market here in londres- could you do similar but with dyed gold or bronze look leather? No tassles. The belt clip is from vivienne westwood.

Ah...such 'big coin buttons' are called Concho. Yep, they are popular for these style of leather, mainly inspired by Japanese design, western cowboy's saddle. On my leather, they are not the real coins from the past, as the real ones are too expensive as vintage items. However, I do have some of these vintage coins for my own collections.

Completed another set of black leather. Tried new design for Trucker Long Wallet, Tri-Fold.
More detail pics on my blogsite on signature.
I understand these designs may not be appealing to some, but they are big in Asia. Anyway, please give your comments.

I don't make pretty stuff, but it works. This holds my VW key and three office keys- the only keys I ever carry.

So are you getting into leather work Z? Stuff looks simple but solid. Still really digging that backpack you made earlier

Thanks. Yeah, I like to work on something when an idea pops into my head. I made a card case about a year ago that I need to post some evo pics for, and I also made that pack, a fake EG QR belt in black, and that keychain. I'm not big on embellishments and don't do western anything, so it's all pretty simple. Should have added this earlier. I can spin it around and have access to all of the buttons on the VW key.

Nice stuff, diba! Is that stingray inlay on the black strap? Did you stitch those straps by hand, or do you have a machine that can handle it?

The strap is 2 pieces. I put stingray on the smaller piece then simply cut a panel on the larger piece so the stingray would be visible underneath. I do it all by hand...takes a LOT longer, but the end result usually speaks for itself
