I think the sleeves are fine... I don't want them any longer, maybe I have a long reach for a short dude, I'm only 5'7 and just barely.

I bought a fleece one from urbanoutfitters, it was called the fink seastruck. I thought it was pretty nice and it still does keep me warm in the winter, with some layering of course.

Can someone explain the denim peacoat to me?

I finally received a compliment while wearing this coat. While I was in J.Crew on Saturday, one of the SA's who seemed to be lets just say not straight, and who sort of looked a short Chris, said he really liked my jacket, asked where I got it, I said it was from Japan a brand called Inapt. He went on to ask me if it was like Junya Wantabe for CDG, I was like no much cheaper... Then he went on to talk about tokyo fashion week, I did not care to discuss fashion with this person. In other words this coat even attracts the gay man. Ha. My girlfrined was like oo is that your new boyfriend.
Sigh.

anyway, bought it... on mark down... like it.

fit is good, materials are good. Size smaller than most.... I usually go with small from EG but M fits well.

not crazy about shiny buttons though against deep navy color, may swap those out for something more muted.
