Thanks, gents - you are all great enablers!  :fistbump:

@Kahuna75, yep, the oxblood really pops.  Great color.

@rostov, they are actually quite close.  Here's the oxblood flanked by the two russets:

@RichieP, lol . . . I would have needed the whole staircase to show everything in pairs.

@coolarrow, that would be even more true if AE would just come out with the new SWBs already.

What size in the Rogue 201 last vs. the 65 did you take?

I wear 10 E on the 65 last and went down in width to D on the Rogues.

Very cool pair. Welcome to the forum and to this thread. Try not to get lured into buying dozens of pairs, like most of us... :(

Thank you. I have been reading on here for a while now. Time to sign up!

I do plan on getting a few more pairs! Looking at Strand, Park Avenue and fifth avenue. Either Bourbon or some kind of red. Which red is easier to match? Oxblood or Merlot? Mostly dark grey or grey pants.

I am still new to the leather shoes world. Lots to learn.

Should've waited on the Gobis. Bought at $181.60 with the extra off, and today they are $177.

Hey everyone,

Question.

I received a pair of these AE wingtips in 8.5 EE as a gift few months back but have only started to wear them. I was measured at an AE store before and was given this size, which I provided to my wife, but I'm wondering if its because of the width that the sides are belling out? (red circle location) if so, anyway to fix this or lost cause? I've received 2 more pairs, with a similar effect...my other brands in just 8.5 do not have this effect.

Thanks in advance,

Amir

I noticed similar this morning, too on shoes they really must want to get rid of. Olive and Red Neumoks are down to $97 and Gray Long Branches are slightly lower at $117.  Even the Bleecker Streets have settled in to $177. Might pick up another one of those. Ha ha.

Finally bit on a pair of stone suede Mcgregors with about two hours before closing last night.  $159.20 -> $157 this morning. Not gonna bother calling for 2 dollars.  I'm not the kid from Better Off Dead.

Thanks Chris, yeah I have read that before but haven't seen many folks wearing suede with business casuals. Though I like suede chukka very much (for its comfort) with jeans/chinos etc.

May be I'll buy some and see if it really works in office, if not then use it with chinos etc.
