What is the most popular suit fabric colour (as a foundation; not withstanding other secondary colours present in corresponding patterns or textures) now worn by members of modern society? I am aware that I left the choices a bit general but I did so to prevent us from having any disputes as to the particular shade (meaning, your choice can include any given shade within the specified colour range and you can make that shade known through commenting on this poll after placing your vote) that should have been included. I hope this post is a bit more concise and unambiguous, though, admittedly, I have not slept in 27 hours. Â

Also, I know some choices are shades within other choices but, in of themselves, they are so prevalent in most designer's lines, I thought they deserved their own categories. At any rate, happy voting and let the popular, stylish, and fashionable advice flow freely...I am sorry, I just could not resist.

OK, just to further reduce ambiguity, what exactly do you mean by "most popular"? Is it:

1) the color we believe accounts for the most suits currently being purchased and/or worn;

2) the color we think people in general like the most;

3) the color we ourselves wear most often;

4) the color we ourselves like the most;

or some other shade"”no pun intended"”of meaning, upon which I haven't hit?

I would have to say all combined, since popularity is a combination of a number of factors, as you so prudently pointed out. Furthermore, popularity is an abstract and even idiosyncratic manifestation of the current national or international opinion, therefore, it could broken down in to hundreds, if not thousands of different classifications (dependent on the origins of the particular group expressing their in vogue sense of fashion) which I felt were much too numerous to include in this ubiquitous question. Though, I must also say that you have quite a bit of time on your hands to topologically dissect, then list that many contributing factors.

So far this Spring season, I have sold 35 Bespoke suits of which 18 have been a shade of blue and 206 made-to-measure suits which have been 94 have been a shade of blue. pretty consistent with the poll results

Dammit, since the new comment pulled this up into current topics, I ignored the dates on the first few posts and thought pstoller had returned. haha, oh well...

I just sprung for a light grey suit. I know I need one in charcoal black or even a medium grey, but images of old Korean men in baggy, ill-fitting sack suits with sleeves and pant legs too long haunt me.

I love my solid navy.

I have read this sentence about fifteen times and I don't have the slightest idea what it means.
