Can someone explain the concept to me? Stores are open late, but no sales? Who cares?

I'll probably swing by Barney's and Bergdorf. Probably better alcohol there.

Faggots, losers, models, insecure people in general.

Hahaha
<-None of the above.
Stop 1: Steven Alan - Picked up a reverse seam for $95.
Stop 2: Nike Sportswear - Peronis, hors d' oeuvres.
Stop 3: Opening Ceremony - Block party, stopped by the Band of Outsiders truck and grabbed a momofuku dessert.
Stop 4: Urban Outfitters - Just a quick stop to say hello to my friend who manages the place.
Stop 5: Odin - Not bad, Pabst in an ice tub and 50% off kicking mule denim.
Stop 6: Built by Wendy - More for the GF than me. Yet more Pabst, wine and good music.
Stop 7: Prada - More beer and unbelievable show by The Rapture.

I was bouncing around Soho with friends enjoying free booze, free food, sales and great music throughout. What did you do?

Did they have free good champagne?

Screw the sales, they were non-existent. It was all about the girls and alcohol. 1)Varvatos gets the win for me: Bombay Sapphire open bar -- it was great. 2)Nike had beer and wine, but no tunes = wack 3)Burberry had a good vibe and champagne ( I couldn't tell you if it was a good since I have no clue what good champagne would taste like) 4) Penguin had red wine, which was ehh. *I did notice that Penguin has a Selvedge Jean out for the fall priced @ $125. It was a dark wash and looked like a slim straight, felt and looked good.. I got to RB way too early ( just after 6pm) Noone was there and didn't want to stick around like a degenerate. They obviously had some good pieces, but their price point would make Bill Gates cringe.. I wish i was able to hit a few more places, but nonetheless: good times; tons of ladies swarming SOHO...

Avoided the stores and went straight for the clubs. Free champagne/vodka at Tenjune, but not because it was free in general, rather because the promoter got us some for free (or maybe some tool paid for it). Made out with some (definitely NON-model) chick who was maybe a 6. Flirted with some black models but got nowhere. Passed out at someone's apartment at 7am and decided to work from home this morning. Ugh. Every time I get tricked into going to the NY meatpacking club scene I realize how overrated it is. It's fun when it's free but it just isn't anything special.

Agreed. Meatpacking clubs are worthless. Should have done FNO.
