I post lots of waywts and still don't really think I know how to dress yet. Then again I only started caring this year.

You're supposed to wear a bowtie with those...very different. I also wear ties to funerals and marriages.

As for the matching tie to suit it's a TB thing, he makes ties from the same material. I happen to think it looks good but I usually go tieless anyway.

"To wear a nice suit with a tie is being appropriately dressed, to wear a nice suit without a tie is luxury." I'm paraphrasing but that's how I feel about it.

Down with ties!

I've never been a big fan. Particularly, the notion of "dressing up" by wearing a tie, but no suit or coat of any sort, has always struck me as weird.

Yeah I like the TB matching tie thing because the quirk level makes the tie have a point and makes it part of the suit, instead of being pointless distraction like rye said.

Ties are the clothing equivalent of pony-tails. Unless you really, really know what you're doing, don't.

but you'll never convince anyone they are in the majority. most of the people here probably think that they, and anyone who agrees with them, are the only ones who are correct
