Never seen that pocket combo before. If the buttons looked nicer, I might prefer it to the current version.

The buttons were another reason I held back. I think they're only plastic. I might seek out some better buttons to replace them.

That chambray looks EXACTLY like my Polo RL chambray. Same color and same pockets w/same features.

I really wanted this sweater in the other colorway (can't remember the exact name), but it's mysteriously gone all of the sudden.

I like argyle sweater but I always get that old man vibe from them. I think you have to layer them to look nice becasue it dampens the pattern a bit.

Ive found that the cotton cashmeres arent worth it full price nor reduced. Here is a con, however. Whenever you push the sleeves up (which i always do) the cuff is immeadietly streteched out beyond repair until you throw it in the dryer (which you can do). Hope I could help.

^^ Probably $10 if they are still on sale in store. What makes J.Crew's camp socks better than other brands of camp socks? Wouldn't a guy be better off getting camp socks from a outdoors store like Dick's or another sporting goods store?

You're absolutely right, just need some thick socks and there aren't any of those stores around me.
