A friend recently died .A great welder and union brother, we worked together for numerous contractors over 30 years. When he was 15 he lied about his age and  joined the Marines, at the ripe old age of 16 he was at the Chosin Reservoir When the Chinese entered the Korean conflict . Anyone familiar with the history of the Crotch knows the story of the Frozen Chosin

I've read about the Frozen Chosin.  I can't imagine much more horrific conditions - the combat seems to be the least worst part.

Seems to me that Vietnam vets are no longer stigmatized by the war they were in due to Kennedy and LBJ.

its funny - i often get slightly embarrassed when i read military history. I've re-read The Right Stuff like 100 times (just because it's a great book) but i get to feeling like i'm borrowing glory somehow.

I don't get real maple syrup. Give me the viscous Aunt Jemima corn syrup stuff over that any day.
I don't get people that prefer Aunt Jemima over maple syrup. I like Aunt Jemima. It's good but maple syrup is like Aunt Jemima mixed with cocaine
post #23474 of 24079
Aunt Jemima with diacetyl added is just plain nasty.
Aunt Jemima with diacetyl 1/10
Aunt Jemima with diacetyl and cocaine 10/10
Maple Syrup 11/10
