I just witnessed a woman try to park her suburban in a busy trader joes parking lot. she had to do a 5 point turn just to squeeze in. then her little kids (maybe 5 year olds) were climbing down from the high doors - which they could've easily tumbled down from. Then I got caught behind her while going through a drive through ATM and she had to get out of her SUV to withdraw money .

You've decided to have a family, and need a large vehicle to accommodate children, and their attendant car safety seats, and the things you will often have to haul along with them, such as strollers, extra bags. Or you simply have to haul a lot of crap frequently, like lots of groceries, or homebuilding supplies, or band equipment, or extra adult passengers. Should you purchase:

- the one with a lower floor making it easier for your children to get in and out, or the one with the higher floor so they have to jump down?
- the one with the lower floor making for more headroom for storage, or the one with the higher floor for less space?
- the one with easily configurable, fold-into-the-floor seating for maximum cargo vs. passenger flexibility, or the one with maybe fold-down third row bench seating that is neither comfortable nor practical?
- the one with generally better driving/ride characteristics, or the one that typically drives more like a truck?
- the one with generally better gas mileage, or the one with worse?
- the one with sliding doors for easy access and cargo loading, or the one with regular fold-out doors that make passenger and cargo loading more awkward?
- the one that carries more stuff, or the one that carries less?
- the one that you load cargo lower, making heavy lifts easier, or the one where you have to lift the heavy loads higher?
- the one that is generally less expensive, or the one that is generally more?

Or are you so afraid that someone might judge you that you make the less practical of all these choices?
