I used to wear only blue wool socks, but then I went wild and branched out to crazy colors like gray, maroon and dark green, and even bought some cotton socks. I even bought some patterns. Now, I find that my housekeeper refuses to match and fold them, and that my wife is incompetent, and can't tell the difference between blue and gray, and between wool and cotton, so I end up with mismatched socks in my closet. Since I am far too lazy to match my own socks, I am resigned to returning to a life of only blue wool socks. I know this is extremely important information, and that all of you were wondering, so I figured that I would share.
You mean you've returned to sanity? Congrats! I only wear blue wool socks most of the time. Occasionally I do maroon or brown. Occasionally.
Sounds like you need a butler.
I don't, but apparently I thought I needed them at some point, and they are a really nice cashmere. I guess I'll wear them around the house someday when it is cold.
