Camo shirt fit, pls.

Too dark outside now. I'll have to snap one this weekend. Good excuse to put it on again.

Does anyone have a line on the pindot shirt in M. Not sure what season or year it was from and it was either black or dark navy in color.

Ordered two oxfords in XL. One white, one grey. The white one fits pretty good, albeit a bit big, but the grey is just HUGE. Mind-boggling. I don't understand why that is.

Do all Gitman x Opening Ceremony shirts run the same, ie size up from normal gitman?

The Olive shirt/L is a little tight in the chest. stars n stripes/XL is perfect.

Tossing up between two white oxfords:

NWT Gitman Vintage white oxford size L for $85; or
NWOT Gant Rugger white oxford size M for $70.

I believe the sizing on the L Gitman/M Gant Rugger to be fairly equivalent

I have plenty of BB ESF subpima white oxfords for work wear, so this is purely for casual wear - potentially wearing untucked. I'm 6 foot, broad neck and shoulders, 33 waist hence have trouble finding shirts that fit nicely up top without being terribly billowy down the bottom (have to get all my BB shirts darted).

Leaning towards the Gitman, especially because I hate the visible stamp they put on all the Gant Rugger shirts.

Can anyone who owns both Gant Rugger/Gitman shirts comment on the quality?

I don't want to comment on what would fit you better, but in my opinion the Gitman is a no brainer in terms of quality and fit. I have both as I needed a plain white oxford for this summer, and have only worn the Gant once (bought on steep discount). The problem with the Gant oxford in white is the buttons they use -- they have a yellowish hue. That paired with stark white oxford cloth is not very pleasing to the eye. I also agree with not liking the stamp they place at the bottom of the shirt. Be advised the Gitman oxford cloth is somewhat thick, and if a true Gitman oxford cloth button down, it will fit slightly snugger than other Gitman shirts. Also, the Gitman is more winter and cold weather appropriate versus the lighter Gant oxford, which is much thinner.

Anyone have problems with their shirts having quite a few loose threads? The worst part is I have some that seems easily like loose threads so I just pull them off but others don't seem to be actually loose threads ... should I just snip them all? It shouldnt cause the stitching to become undone right..

I wouldn't worry about it, a lot of shirts have loose threads, nothing has come undone so far.

But I mean they are sticking out and stuff. Some of them I pulled off successfully while some seem to be actual stitching.

Does anyone have any comparison images between Small and Extra Small?
Looking to pick up a few more shirts and want to see if I should size up.

^ Slack pretty much summed up the fabric difference between the Gant Rugger/ Gitman Vintage white oxfords. I will say, I think the Gitman Vintage white oxford in the large will fit a noticeable amount bigger in the chest than the Gant rugger oxford in medium. The Gitman vintage oxfords seem to taper more in the stomach area then there other fabrics ie Madras/chambray etc. But the chest on the gitman vintage oxfords is pretty standard, or at least on the slim side of standard. Anyway, I'm almost positive the Gitman oxford in large will fit bigger in the chest than the gant rugger oxford in medium

I think your best bet is to find out the measurements of the shirts you are interested in, and go from there.

Different gitman vintage shirts fit different between seasons/styles/fabrics etc, and the fact that how they fit on one person won't really help much in deciding how they fit on you.

If it bothers you, cut off the part that is sticking out. The stitching will not come undone.
