I think that for the amount of **** Kanye gets, he has some pretty interesting outfits. He's out there, but duh, he's supposed to be. I just think he would be better if he was less "brand oriented" and actually developed looks based on, hrrm, well the look of it, instead of whether or not the tag says Raf, BoO, CP, etc.

That is always the case with GQ. The photographers are more skilled than the stylists, so lots of otherwise mediocre things wind up looking quite good. Also, I think Mark Ronson would get a pass on SuFu.

Glenn O'Brien deserves his spot. He's just pure cool. Justin Timberlake looks horrible.

+1. O'Brien is one of the few in the fashion advice business that I find enjoyable. Timberlake always looks like a tool. I know this going to sound blasphemous (even I hesitate to type it), but, at least recently, Ryan Seacrest seems fairly well-dressed for a d-bag.

I had never heard of him before this list, but his store does look like fun. The inclusion of a less well-known person of some interest almost makes up for TI.

Ed Ruscha :

he was a fairly prolific pop-artist...

I thought they dressed these folks up well, It was cool they gave a nod to Rushmore by placing JS in rod lavers.

Hmm, I've never thought to notice before. Probably because his annoying face is too distracting.

I was thinking the same thing, stylists definitely play a part.

Despite that, I like JT and schwartzman's eccentricity, I think the way they portray themself here does more for them than the clothes they're wearing.

Ruscha (Sr) dresses well, Kanye dresses like a doofus and poses constantly.
