I'm always so damn tired!

Lately it's been getting ridiculous. I can blame some studying but midterms aren't even close so that's not it..

I sleep between 6-9 hours every night it probably averages out to about 7 and 8-10 on weekends.

I drink about 2-3 cups of coffee throughout the day, god knows why since coffee doesn't really affect me anymore.

I drink tea and green tea all the time so that's even more caffeine..

I just feel so tired all day long, I "fake" being energetic during the day since I hate people who always bitch about being tired but in the end if it's something I don't HAVE to do today I won't.

The only thing that actually helps are energy drinks..which I am trying to avoid now at all costs.

Diet is..the typical college diet. Not really healthy but I eat most food groups. Exercise is around moderate. Maybe below moderate.

You might be slightly vitamin deficient. You could also be depressed. I hear lots of people experience moderate depression as energy loss and fatigue.

Here's my experience, I've had much more energy recently due to a few changes. I would've described myself similar to you before these changes, and I'm in college as well. I actually tried napping between classes this semester, and couldn't...had plenty of energy to study on breaks. I take a multivitamin everyday, and include Fish Oil and Spirulina pills whenever I remember. I try to avoid getting too MUCH or too little sleep, try and keep it at 8 a night, and get out of bed as soon as my alarm goes off, no snoozing here. Stay out of bed during the day. Use it for sleep and sex, and that's it. Don't even look at it otherwise ; ) No homework or TV in bed. No coffee, energy drinks, or soda. Carry a water bottle, and that's it. No alcohol either (well, a drink here and there...mostly a small glass of sweet wine, or a Long Island rarely) Jog, swim, play tennis, lift weights, walk to anywhere within walking distance, get some sun and fresh air. As far as diet, Look for healthy food that supplies basic nutrients. I like walnuts, alomnds, raisins, fresh fruit, tuna and chicken breasts, etc. I don't snack on traditiional snack food at all, and I eat much less than most people I know. Smaller plates, smaller portions, and I hate feeling overly "full." YMMV, positive thinking and staying busy with tasks you enjoy is also something to think about. In class, sit in front, pay attention, and don't watch the clock or think about being tired.

One of the RubeBabes is raving about some B-complex she's started taking that supposedly is giving her all kinds of pep. You might want to look into that.

Not sure exactly what that is, but it's just an excess of B vitamins it may give you a few hour spurt but they're water soluble vitamins. Meaning, the excess will just be eliminated by the kidneys and peed out. They can't really be stored. Lifestyle choices are a better permanent fix.
