aha . thanks for sharing it sounds like an incredible environment .

also interesting knowledge that the interiors can be frigid b/c of the air conditioning . lol what to do ?

the worst humidity i've ever experienced was probably on the banks of the st croix river (MN) for a 4th of July wedding . suited etc . the rest of the weekend wasn't much more comfortable come to think about it .

Yes, the humidity in Singapore is relentless year-round and the air-con indoors seems to be set to freezing everywhere. There are other places in SE Asia where it's just as humid and even hotter, but without the ubiquitous a/c.

Minnesota's an interesting place. Average summer temps/humidity can't touch lots of other places - but here and there it can get FEROCIOUSLY hot and humid.

Inevitably that stretch will be the week before Labor Day when you’ve got out of town guests in who want to see the state fair and eat fried food on a stick or some curds and all you want to do is be on your boat or in the water.

Interested to make a suit out of this. Anyone has a suit picture of this made-up?

For 2 days a year and then 9 months of North Pole weather with that white stuff to deal with!

I think this J. Press suit is in this fabric...a person of questionable ethics could order, check it out in person and then return

Thank you.

I am struggling to choose between the FA3 and FA6 (more ecru and grey). Have you ever considered the FA6 instead of FA3?
I have a couple other pow’s that are more grey and a slightly darker shade so I wanted a lighter summer suit since it’s fox air but I also don’t find the FA3 to read as navy/ecru until you’re really close to it. Thanks for the excuse to pull this out to wear today. Indoor and outdoor lighting.

Found out the Walnut melange just got out of stock for the Fox Air (waiting until the new book comes out now, my tailor asked them and they said “a few months”)

Instead went for the FC17 for a workhorse suit

What would be sportcoat cloth equivalent of the 12/13oz formal worsteds suitings? No woollen cloth or w/s/l as the former is rather wintery and the latter summery in terms of texture despite some examples might have the same weight.

Was thinking of the worsted alsport and equivalent but their colours are too countrish for my purpose.

it's a difficult range, to be honest

h&s has an own equivalent to worsted alsport, maybe there is something in there for you but it's also very country-esque
