+1. I really like this photograph and his fit. It looks natural and not 'forced'.

Dear God, how many times can we go over this in one thread?

Timer + flat, stable surface. Done! Typically, I'm walking to work, see a place that might work, put the camera on the ledge, set the timer, walk away, walk back towards it while it snaps shots, put it back in my bag, and I'm done. It takes a couple minutes, max.

That particular shot is old, by the way but I wanted to get in on the cat posting and it was the only thing in my Photobucket album with the cat in frame. I should have cropped myself out and just had the cat + Jameson + disembodied hand. That is not what I actually wore today.

Fair enough. For me it was more about the "looking down to the side" with the sort of forlorn or dissaffected stare.

You certainly succeed in making it look as if someone else is taking the picture.

"Forlorn or disaffected" is 100% not the intention. I rarely look at the camera because WAYW pics where people are staring at the camera are vaguely weird/unsettling, and I don't want to go to the bother of blurring out my face.

I'm about 99% sure we've gone over this in the thread before.
