i thought the original appeal of flannel shirts came from lumberjacks, who also happen to wear them with jeans, no?
I wouldn't think the OP wants to look like a lumberjack at work. Sartorially speaking I can see how jeans and flannel shirts would be considered a no-no, unless you are indeed a lumberjack.
