this is great. I'm surprised the Red Wings don't look unbalanced with the new standards. also love how the jeans look completely disgusting. Well done.

Love this also, but agree if your not wearing the bandana for functionality it would be better worn elsewhere.
I like the product mix; it's the same as my approach to mix vintage, mall brand and designer pieces as uniquely as I can without stepping into costume territory. I just don't have a pair of jeans I've abused long enough that look as epic as those!

"Gimmee"?.

I like it except for the tie. I always think a tie looks a bit contrived unless the occasion legitimately calls for it (which I doubt it does as you're probably just going to class or hanging around campus), but perhaps that's my casual upbringing.

I was at an outside bar a few weeks ago when a guy walked by in a l/s sweater, dress shirt, jeans, sneakers (Converse I think), and a tie. It was 83* outside, and it looked entirely affected.

Actually, I went to a wedding in that tonight. It was a pretty laid back wedding outside. I won't wear a tie with that though in the future unless I'm at a formal event, thanks.

Haha, welcome to the club--my nickname at work is "GQ" ever since a CPR instructor called me that in front of the class.

I think they are quite tough to come by, sadly. They are part of the Clarks Originals line and the model is called Clarks Desert Mali. I found them in-store around new years this year. If you have a local Clarks distributor you can see if they are familiar with the name. *e* Regarding ties, I like wearing both ties and bow-ties casually. I think it has a lot to do with the attitude. Combining it with jeans works well usually, you don't want to over-dress for the occassion.

I thought the same but came to the conclusion that being tall probably helps

Please convey to Mrs. jpgm that she looks quite good and has an innate fashion sensibility (as do you both).
