Yeah, I think you guys are being a little harsh with Becks. You can't always complain that nobody gets dressed up anymore, or wears suits anymore (and 3 piece suits at that), and then criticize the **** out of anyone who does because they don't conform to the styleforum look to the T. I think Beckham looks pretty good in that picture, all things considered - certainly better than most celebrities dress.

+1 on that one. He's certainly put some thought into it and should be commended for the effort. He's not going to look like a banker or a lawyer and given his image and youth, probably shouldn't try (yet).

His tie does look like he left his fingers in the knot, but some do the same in Rome.

That tie knot is the size of his head...

Curious... most British people I've known use regular sized four in hands. I actually like the tie, though the knot could stand to be a normal four in hand or probably a half-Windsor. His outfit isn't all that bad, guys. The monogram, matching pocket square (linen would be better) and shoe colour are a bit off, but I don't see at as a disaster by my standards. As was pointed out, he's actually showing cuff and wearing a three piece... something you don't see much. Matt, no one is worshipping him. I don't even know who the guy is! We're just saying that nitpicking of every little thing and then calling his outfit "disgusting" is a bit much when he's better dressed than most celebrities in that picture. This next picture you show definitely isn't him at his best, but if he tucked in the shirt and buttoned the middle button on his jacket instead, I'd add points.

Personally, I think he looks great in that picture. The only flaw is that the shoes don't work with the tie, and the tie matches the pocket square. He should go with a lighter tie and maybe a white linen square.

I doubt the shoes are "bile yellow" -- that is probably just bad color temp in the photo.

Suit, shirt, and knot are great though.

+3 (or 4 or whatever) except I like the shoes ALOT.

I think he looks fine, not ideal, but fine. Anyone that wears those kind of shoes, and a three piece suit gets my thumbs up, regardless of the tie color.
