I have the same kind of marks on my customhide bag as the Saddleback on the right. Any way to take care of these/protect the bag?

Very elegant bag, Igor. You do excellent work (as if you need to be told that).

I read earlier in the thread about Glaser recommending Nivea. Anyone else try this or have any other suggestions?

Rawlings, the baseball glove manufacturer, also makes a briefcase. They recommend shave cream to clean and condition, just like one does with their gloves.

I've been using Nivea on my Glaser and FWIW I think it works fine. Gives it a nice bit of shine, the leather remains nice and supple and it smells great!

I have a secret, I use Curel lotion on my bridle leather. I've tried other lotions, most leave a significant residue from additives such as coloring, powders (talc?), scents, etc. Curel doesn't. Sounds like Nivea is similar.

I use RM Williams saddle dressing and leather conditioner on my Filson, no aroma and it brings it up a nice shine.

+1

I use RMW's Leather Conditioner on the leather part of my Filson bags, (256 & 257). I think it smells good. Obenauf's works well too.

Does anyone know what this bag is? (numbered 5 in the photo) I chased this picture around Tumblr but wasn't able to find the source or labels, no luck through Tineye either.

It looks similar to the Brooks Brothers Buffalo Soft Briefcase posted on the previous page but isn't idential. It's also similar (but not identical) to the Delvaux President Bag, which is a bit out of my price range.

Thanks.
