Even on a budget, you can find some of Allen Edmonds' older models (sometimes even current) on eBay for <$100.

Doubt you can find any new AE's on Ebay from $100 from a reputable seller.

Suck what? 99% of what you just linked are loafers and slip-ons. Find me new park-ave's or something similar with (I.E. something actually relevant to the OP) new and less for $100. Here is size 11, from low to high. Not 1 oxford with a leather sole under $150. I check ebay constantly for new AE's in models actually worth owning. Anyone selling a desirable AE is not selling it for under $100. Why would they? http://clothing.shop.ebay.com/Mens-S...82&_vc=1&gbr=1

True, you're not going to find Park Avenues or Strands under 200$.

Lurking our BS forum, you could probably find, though.

Alright, let's switch gears a little bit. Florsheim Westhaven?

A little bit more expensive than Steve Madden/Aldo, nice classic look. What say you?

Better, but still poorly constructed. Florsheim isn't what it used to be.

Florsheim Carleton or Florsheim Kenmoor if you're going to buy them new.

What is your shoe size?

Florsheim has several Wingtip shoes... check out the Marlton too. Many color options and it retails for $140.

Johnston & Murphy also has some in the $150 or less range.

+1 I am relatively n00b myself...but my pre SF taste is way better than this...I lurked and did quite a lot of reading and observing before chiming in.
