And the basic sillouette - I like simple designs, the bland ones. The leather showcases itself - I don't need bells and whistles, and experimental stuff.

what's ridiculous is that saying a moulton collar, a half belt, hidden storm cuffs, alpaca wool lining, etc. is designless, has no elements, and tantamount to a blank peice of leather. It may not be enough, or the right kind of elements for you, but it is just the right amount of elements for some. Why is this even a conversation? Obviously this jacket, and the Highwayman that started this thread is not like that torn up black jacket above, and it's good they are not. Apples and oranges, but all in the same thread...
