I enjoyed that about as much as a Real World marathon.
Not very much. . .

yeah, definitely worth watching but it could've been so much better if nolan had let loose a little more. the general premise is great but the way some things are executed are disappointingly pedestrian. the movie takes place in dreams, why is there so little crazy ****

of course, i'll be going back to rewatch it.

A little disappointed that JG-L didn't have more of a character. He was just sort of window dressing.

That being said, I liked the movie.

Exactly. A must watch and it freaking blew my minds. Great movies make you think and this is certainly no different. If you want to go watch a popcorn movie go see Iron Man 2, this on the other hand is Matrix of the next generation (minus the awful sequels).

JG-L is an exceedingly handsome man in the movie. Not man crush status, but close. p.s.

Pretty much the extent of his character though. I dunno. I guess having a bunch of really great, versatile actors in your movie, and then using them as you would as model/actors just kinda bugs me.

watchable and fun, but nothing that really makes it special.

Really?

I enjoyed this movie more than any other Nolan film. I was completely engrossed, constantly trying to figure out where they were going, what they were trying to do, how they would accomplish their kickers in a ever evolving dreams within dreams. I was sad for the movie to end really. I wanted them to explore the dream sharing more (spoiler: as soon as they mentioned the limbo I turned to my girlfriend and said that's where the beginning of the movie took place, in Seito's limbo world, it was pretty satisfying to call that one).

I will say that my biggest gripe is the amount of time they spend on dialogue between DiCaprio and Cotillard. Not sure why they had to shove that "eternal love" in our faces time after time.

I will be watching this in the theaters again, probably with my dad as he was always intrigued with the Matrix movie (original) and the concept of living in a world within a world.

People keep talking about Nolan in relation to The Dark Knight, but they seem to forget that he was the director for The Prestige, which I thoroughly enjoyed. I think it was actually a better film than TDK. Michael Caine is a class act no matter what the role.

epic. Granted, the last movie I saw was Grownups so my standards may be skewed towards the low side, but Inception was brilliantly entertaining. Would watch again.

How is nobody talking about the costumes, which were some of the best I've seen? Aside from looking great, they were futuristic in a way that's not attention-grabbing.
