You know I'm just giving you a hard time but seriously I don't get it when people write stuff like this [the first time I quoted xeno]. Proportions, silhouette, coherency, and fit are the most important things I think. IMO colors are pretty hard to **** up, not to take anything away from creative and powerful color usage. This sort of gets back to a post I made a while ago about different kinds of criticism people poast...generally I don't think it's worth describing to someone the little tweaks you would make to their outfit to get it just how you would want it to, we could all do that for days and it might be kinda cool at first but it would be more exhaustive and unnecessary than anything else. Then again, if the color in an outfit is clearly detracting from the coherence of a look as a whole, people like getting good crit/swap suggestions. Not quite the case here. /xeno post

Marc by Marc Jacobs. I bought them when i knew nothing about denim besides RAW SELVEDGE OMG but it turns out the fit was spot on (low rise, slight taper)

It's probably more indicative of our own perceptions rather than an objective truth, personally I see the colours first and everything else comes secondary to me. I put great importance on colours probably because of my background in graphic design, where a good colour palette and colour utilization can make all the difference between a good design and a bad one.

i usually wear some medium brown leather shoes, but i've been lazy and felt like sneakers for the last few days.

i'd love to get some taupe suede bucks though. i remember someone here had some brouge trickers that were in a taupe suede with red soles, they were so awesome.

gonna nth xenox, colors are pretty important imo. too bad i wear so much black.
