I iterally came to this thread to ask about blue suede, or preferred, blue reverso. ShoesToBoot had a pair last year I should have grabbed.

I've seen hints of somebody making a blue buck with red rubber sole but am having no luck finding one.

Alden blue suede PTB's, Barrie last, single flex welt sole, lined. From NYC Madison ave Alden store.
Very nice! But here's the thing...I just called them and was told they were on the Aberdeen last which I'm not sure I believe as he answered the phone "Hello", to which I responded, "Is this Alden?" He said, "Yeah, sorry.". LOL. Come on, man! Say "Alden NY" or "Alden, how can I help you?" or something!

Those are undoubtedly on the barrie last. I have so many shoes on barrie that I'll recognize that a mile away.

I agree!
plus I can tell by the fit.

The guy I spoke with wasn't sure what last it was on, but I knew.

Here in Italy you can also find the Alden unlined chukka boot in blue suede.
They cost 480 euro...
