I want to get the same thing now, in suede and perhaps another color of leather.

What is inside the zippers - are they air vents or pockets?

The quality is great, soft and thick supple leather, so I jumped on it when it went on sale, but sadly I just cant pull off a size 50 in dsquared, now I think I'll have to sell it or trade it instead

Went to What Goes Around last week and tried on this jacket. Immediately fell in love with it. The price was I think $895., and the nice sales-lady said I could have 25% off. I asked if she could do a little better if I bought two, the cognac and the same in black.

After a bit of discussion with the manager she told me they could give me 30% off if I got both.

Long story short, I got both for a total incl tax of $1,373.- I am ecstatic. They are perfect, the leather is soft and silky and they fit perfectly.

The one thing I did was take them to my leather specialist and have the wool herringbone lining removed and put in silk. Chocolate brn. on the cognac one and deep red on the black. Living in California the wool was just too warm. Now they are perfect.

^Agreed, moo, nice jacket and pic! This is an old picture from last year, but I'll post it anyway. The jacket is a Theory dark gray/greenish sort of lambskin that I found marked down at the Saks sale after Xmas.

There was a black one in i think size 48 and a dark brown in i think 50 last week on ebay (mmm rider that is). Such a pretty jacket.

I only own one leather. The washed lambskin j lindenberg one i've been wearing. It's not that thick though so i'll need to wear a thermal or something soon. Would love to get another leather that's a bit thicker/warmer

The nap or 'suede' texture gets buffed and the natural grain in the leather comes back through. The spots with the most wear develop a sheen the jackets texture takes on another depth.

Jackets like the Sea Coat in the nubuck age the same way. Alternately, you can brush the jacket with a wire bristle nubuck brush and keep the nap if you prefer.

VINCENT AND VINCENT nubuck jawns look ******* great.

Opinions appreciated on these two belsatff jackets, am purchasing one tomorrow.
The first is the belstaff lion blouson, not in black like the one below. It's two-tone: black brown shoulders, outside sleve and over zip, and the rest is a yellowy brown.

The second is a black, classic biker style. Not sure how I'd wear this one?

There going for €350, so a bit of a steal. Can't afford both at the moment unfortunately.
