Why doesn't SF have a subforum for reviews of products? This forum is essentially about buying clothes as much as it is about discussing the aesthetics and fit of clothing. A review subforum would be very useful to organize threads and reduce special flower threads. A person who's interested in Brand X jeans in Y fit could search up a thread that reviews the jeans in detail instead of having to look through an entire 100+ page "OFFICIAL BRAND X JEAN" thread. Sure, you could call that person lazy for not searching harder...or you could call it being more efficient.

A review thread would have the measurements of the product (preferably and before and after wash to warn of any shrinkage), the measurement of the person (optional), the retail price of the product, a brief review of its quality, craftsmanship, price:quality ratio, and fit. Of course, a copious amount of pictures to follow the review so other SFers can decide for themselves if they want to buy the product online or through SF's marketplace. This is especially beneficial to people who don't have easy physical access to the product they want (ie; a person in Colorado would have a very hard time finding a place to try on Uniqlo jeans). Others who has the same product that has been reviewed could also chime in with their opinions of said product.

I'm not the knowledgeable in terms of the bandwidth of SF, but I doubt a subforum would be an incredible hassle to mods or an extremely arduous task to perform. Please take this into consideration.

Okay, but reviews don't write themselves.

If I'm not mistaken, there was a styleforum wiki that would have functioned in much the same way, only infinitely more navigably, and nobody used it.

Cliff notes anyone? I should never spend a few days away from the forum.

ya people poke fun at each other here but that was just vile. I say some pretty awful stuff in jest but that's something that wouldn't even be considered as ammunition.

Can the mods move Asian opulance thread to DT? It had a great potential to be DT when it started and now it has become a full-fledge DT.

It is paid for, as are the other affiliate threads. The threads are there for affiliates to communicate with the readers. There is no option to pay to pin a thread in MC. I looked at the thread, and it seems that everything on there is relevant. What exactly is your complaint?

Am I not the only one that thinks Tokyo Slim is jumping the ship a bit with the fantasy baseball stuff?

I think he's taking it a bit too serious but don't really think the moderators need to jump in.

You are obviously not the only one. If you have a problem with it, just come out and complain, don't be so passive aggressive about it.

I'm sure the other Mods have seen what's happened and are probably waiting to hear back from J about what to do about it. Honestly, if the mods think I should be put out, put me out. I don't get any special treatment.

I don't have much of a problem with it, and I certainly don't think you need to put out, but I'm just curious as to why it's being put out in the open rather than a PM with him.

Why on earth would we do this in PM?

That doesn't make any sense at all.
