7 Diamonds / Varvatos x Converse / AA / Levis / Chucks Nothing revolutionary; I've only just recently started thinking about what I wear, so I'm still working on developing an aesthetic beyond the basics.

This is not to criticize your fit, but to use it as an example. Fits like this or with a v-neck/oxford/jeans always look so wrong to me when paired with Chucks. I don't know what it is and I'm probably the only one who feels this way. I just feel like Chucks are shoes that some people make look damn good and everyone else cannot pull off. Must be me.

Thoughts? I know the sleeves are short and they're intended to be, but the question is...Bad or good? Would appreciate suggestions on shoes as well

robbie,
I like parkas in general but that one doesn't look right on you. It's not meant to be a slim coat but it seems way too big. The fur looks a bit like a wet cat as well.

I am not reaally sure how to clean the fur. I sort of misted the coat with lysol and then tossed everything but the hood in the dryer. I am not sure if its actual fur or synthetic or what not. My mom suggested taking it to a furrier, but wasn't able to find anything in the phone book. It does look weird, I would like to fix it, do you have any suggestions?

Anyhow, it doesn't really fit you are right. It is really warm though, which today was all that mattered. I would need an extra small according to jump the gun, and some of the other mod geared websites that offer m-51's.

it was what i was wearing so i figured i'd share, thanks for the constructive criticism/input.

I don't know much about fur, but I would think that cleaning it would best be left to a specialist. You can always ask your dry cleaner about it.

It does look a bit too big but I think the other issue is one of proportion. I heavier shoes (or even better boots) and less slim pants would help to better to balance the fit out. But yeah, Fishtails are supposed to be a bit "oversized."

Decided to do my best bluemagic impression (yikes!) for a shabbat dinner (shabbat shalom everyone)...I realize this was probably a bit too much, but I kinda had to wear a tie (and yes, I did end up fixing it a little after the pic) and I couldn't find better in-between outerwear due to the unseasonably warmer (40 degrees!) weather.
