I have McGregor wool blend dress socks and I throw them with other colored garments in the washing machine and let them dry flat. But I ended up with small balls of lint collecting on them as seen in the picture and it's embedded and difficult to remove. Should I wash them separately? Should I wash them by hand?

Thanks

I've never used them but what about trying those mesh bags made for delicates?

Wash 'em seperately and line dry. You're getting stuff that's rubbed off the other items.

um, that never happened to me...

but i ve quite a lot of blacks and i can usually wash blacks by themselves as delicates.

If you are heavy washing b/c u have super nasty socks, sprinkle baking soda when u wear them, and delicate wash?

Socks other than all cotton ones usually have to be washed separately either by hand or as delicates in the washer. I go nuts when top quality wool blend socks in elaborate patterns turn to fuzzy mush. Great hose as old Fred Astaire knew is fundamental to dressing well and it needs to be taken care of or it's going to look awful.

Do any of you actually have jobs? In between shopping for clothing, handwashing socks, ironing shirts, you'd think you had unlimited time on your hands.
