Relaxed double-breasted?

Well I found several posts about Double-breasted jackets, but most of them are quite formal suits. I wonder if it's possible to combine different relaxed double breasted blazers with jeans, sneakers and others. Do you have some pictures? Tell your opinions.
BTW is it still trendy or would you look stupid on the streets?
What would you mix with? color of blazer? style?

I don't like DB blazers (structured or unstructured) with jeans. DB is inherently more formal. Paired with jeans, it's the sartorial equivalent of a mullet, IMHO.

For some reason I really like the way a DB looks with white jeans. And those colored chinos look good IMHO. Maybe its not for everyone.

I do agree that distressed jeans + DB is roughly equivalent to a mullet.

I always think of DB as more casual. I'm not a historian of men's clothing, but I seem to remember reading a post here (maybe Sator?) that mentioned the evolution of SB and DB jackets and the SB is the more formal of the two in lineage. In my own wardrobe, the DB suits and jackets are all done in more casual cloth (plaids, brighter colors, sporting cloths, MOP/metal buttons, etc).

I think a high quality blue DB Blazer, from a co. like Turnbull & Asser, worn with the right clothes on a reasonably tall and slim man is the epitome of style. But that's just me.

Well even though I like DB Blazer, I don't think of it as an epitome of style in any way.
But that's just me too.
