Braces cause a lot of problems and anxiety. I recommend invisalign, this will do what braces do and there will be no anxiety or whatsoever. Whether it be teeth alignment or chipping in teeth every thing can be done very easily. invisalign san francisco is the place where I got Invisalign done.

People who wear invisalign are gross because it looks like they are wearing dentures and every few mins they have to make that sucking noise. Many people will also unconsciously start lifting up the bottom row with the tip of their tongue when they are bored.

Orthodontist told me if I wanted Invisalign I'd have to wear regular braces for at least 6 months before I could even start Invisalign.

And what problems, and anxiety? Ever since the first few weeks, I actually like my braces. I take 100x better care of my teeth now that I have braces. I floss about 12 times a week, which is significantly better then the 12 times in my entire life prior to braces (excluding teeth cleanings).

Braces are expensive enough, that is the only anxiety I face. $188/month to see the orthodontist for all of 30 minutes is pretty outrageous.

I have a permanent retainer behind my teeth now. It's so difficult to floss my four bottom incisors now. How do you do it? And OP, I'd probably get the braces and get it over with.

I find the floss just slides in between the wire and the teeth. The trick for me is .. keep the teeth, and the floss as dry as possible. But my braces are on the front, might be harder with it behind.

Whatever method you chose, it's worth it. As other's have mentioned, Invisalign doesn't work for everyone. If your teeth are almost perfect, sure, but don't kid yourself in believing the strength of plastic can compensate for metal.

The 2.5 years with braces is going to be pretty ******, not going to lie to you but the light at the end of the tunnel is brighter than you imagined. No joke.

For a permanent retainer, use floss threaders.
