You could call it "on the ball"! of course, you'd have to devote the first episode to explaining the joke. and then you could intersperse the recipe demos with staged readings of drunken texts from SFers.

and don't forget about a carrot turning contest. Fastest to 10 (this should take only about 5-6 total minutes of network time, excluding the intro and all). After that, we can have a judge offer insights on each carrot and unsatisfactory ones will get the obligatory "I am not a fran".

bourdain is regularly annoying, but based on his sensibility and that old rant about food network, i think he'd make a great show. he doesn't even need to cook. he could go around showing other people cook, sort of like he did on that one episode earlier this season.

if you want your own cooking show, there's always youtube!

That was the only episode of Bourdain I've ever actually thought was good, although it wasn't what it was hyped up to be given the cast of characters on it. I don't cook much anymore, but I should probably start a youtube channel devoted to the proper opening and decanting of wine. I'm a pro, bro.
