Not sure if this is the right place for this kind of post, but I was recently at a place called The Garment District in Boston and they had 6 or 7 Hermes ties in new condition. I didn't bite as they were $40 and I don't often wear silk ties, and have enough as it is. Really nice ties though, for anyone who might happen to be in the area.

You didn't buy them for FOURTY DOLLARS APIECE? That's like Jos. A Banks kind of pricing right there. Were they prints, or just solids/patterns?

Yeah, not purchasing the ties was a dumb move on your part. Even if you bought them solely for the purpose of resale, you could have turned a large profit. Or, if you dont need the money, you could have kept them as conversation pieces. Everyone always froths at the mouth over hermes ties

Were they new with tag? or pre worn? That's a great price. Hermes ties are perhaps the only ties will a high re-sale value.
