thanks !

Should I expect any bad side-effects (i.e. the leather looking worse, or the shoe being weaker?)

I would recommend bringing your shoes into a trusted cobbler. I recently had a pair stretched (D to E) width and it cost me $10 CDN and only took three days.

I use a pair all the time, as I am slightly wider than "D", and narrower than "E".

I do generally spray the interior of the shoes first with a stretching liquid, and let the stretchers stay in for a few days-- make small adjustments, and dont rush.

Does anyone know if these will work on sneakers, and if so where I can get some? Thanks.

my shoe stretchers worked, so did those little plastic plugs they come with.
stretch a BIT at a time too. i didnt use any "leather relaxer" or liquid on them, i should have - to put my mind at ease, but they dont appear to have been ruined.
