Which knot for a silk knit tie?

Most of my shirts are spread collar (medium and wide) and I was going to wear a slim blue pinpoint oxford with a solid black silk knit tie this afternoon. I normally employ a half-windsor knot, but me thinks the narrow knit tie would better accomodate a four-in-hand knot.

Thoughts?

I use a four-in-hand for everything, but that's just me.

I use a Prince Albert for everything but the very thickest ties (FIH then).

I normally use a variant of a half-windsor with most ties, but switch to a four-in-hand for knits. I think the smaller knot suits the skinnier tie.
