What to wear to a PGA event....

comfortable shoes...I used to work for a golf manufacturer and comfort is the key

What type of passes do you have? Are you with the "masses" or are you in the VIP tents? Regardless what ever you do DON'T wear golf shoes!

Polo shirt; cotton sweater (in case it's cool); shorts; short socks; comfortable sneakers; hat; sunglasses.

If it rains, consider a waterproof pullover in lieu of the cotton sweater.

If you dress up, you will look like a douche and you will make it harder to see (because sometimes you've gotta kneel).

This is what I'd wear. Comfort is key. Don't forget sunblock; you'll be out in the sun for a very long time. If you're going to be there for four days, I'd definitely bring a second pair of sneakers; I went to the Byron Nelson one year and managed to find every mudhole on the course.
