What pen to use with my new Filofax?

I just bought a new zip A5 Filofax and need a nice rollerball pen to go with it. I need something that will fit into the pen holder, will be easy to write with and is relatively inexpensive, so if I have to replace it I can do so without much anguish.

Thanks for any suggestions,

Jon.

I don't know which one you have but the one I got (which I don't use anymore) had two relatively thin pen loops. I ended up getting felt markers, one black and one red that fit in there because they limited the size of the pen you could use. For example I don't think the Space Pen would fit in there, let alone most fountain pens. It was kind of disappointing actually, probably a good part of why I stopped using it.

Anyway, if this is true of yours, you'll probably have to go to a stationery store to try pens to find one that fits.

I have the large A5 'Logic Zip' version:

I currently inserted an inexpensive throw away Pilot rollerball in there and it fit without any problems, but they tend to be slimmer than refillable pens. Your suggestion of trying pens out to see which one fits in there is a good one, thanks!

I am a big fan of the space pen, and carry one in my front pants pocket, aside from my foutain pen.

I also bought, recently, a pilot pen that was only about 4 inches long. highly recomended.
