Inspired by the whats best on TV thread, I had to start one for the worst. It doesn't have to be a show that was only on once or twice. It could have been on for a long time. I think the worst show of all time has to be Full House. I was tortured having to watch it growing up because we had no cable and only one tv. My mom had to watch the reruns as I got older. I mean you had John Stamos as Uncle hair Diva, Bob Saget as the neat freak ass clown dad, Dave Coulier as the moose talking and unfunny uncle, Candace Cameron as the boring older sister, Jodie Sweetin as the younger How Rude sister, and the Olsen twins as the younger "You got it dude' kids. The only way I keep those two straight is that one had an eating disorder and the other one only looks like she did. We also had Lori Loughlin as Hair Diva's wife and the annoying next door neighbor Kimmy that was played by Andrea Barber. I honestly think this is the worst show of all time. What do you think?

I have to pick just one? That's a tall order, I can't limit myself, so I'll list a few:

My Mother the Car
Mr. Ed
I Love Lucy in all its variations
American Idol
Star Trek--the original series

Okay, I have to admit Star Trek isn't the worst, but looking back on it now, it's really bad--bad acting, bad production values, bad writing. It's a wonder it ever found its audience and led to the good shows (STTNG, DS9) that followed.

The Anna Nicole Show. Current events completely aside.

I never saw this, but I heard Being Bobby Brown and Britney & Kevin: Chaotic were truly awful, especially one sequence where Bobby describes how he once had to give his wife some digital laxative stimulation...

Perhaps there should be parameters put on this. Most of the truly gawdawful shows get cancelled even before their first season is over. More impressive is a terrible show with staying power.

Ooh, First-Years... the soapy prime time drama about... first year law firm associates!

For shows that came and went in a flash, how about "Manimal"?

(I don't think I ever saw it, I just remember it because Letterman ruthlessly mocked it at the time.)
