What do you think about these shoes?

Slowly but surely, I'm getting out of sneakers. I find I'm more attracted to shoes and boots. Particularly moccasin type shoes. What do you guys think of these?

The shape in general I find unappealing -- it has the look of a small car bloated by focus group-fixated designers, formless and unrefined. The toebox in particular seems off. This aesthetic with a sleeker profile would be fine, though.

I like the moccasins, but I agree with Bergdorf that the shape of the tip is important. If you're a shorter or stockier guy a more pointed, slender tip would be more flattering. If you're taller and thinner, then a rounded toe or slim and slender would suffice. Boxtoes though make your feet look clunky and shorter.

Excuse me but I find them horrible.
I dislike boat shoes but these are even uglier.

I went straight from sneakers to oxfords. Skipped the entire moccasin/loafer phase. this is the only way to go.

I'd like these as well if they had a N.D.C.-like toebox. A chestnut brown leather in this type of shoe is something I'm actually interested in purchasing for casual days.

None of those can hold a candle to my suede ndc deck shoe.

Sorry ichapelle, but I'm really not feeling any of these shoes. They just look too clunky. Yaz's recomendations of a Chukka is a good one. Also, I like the one berlin report posted- not because of its shape (which I find to be only marginally better than the ones you posted), but because its much more visually interesting. Notice how similar yet different they are to the last shoe you posted.
