As far as the sweater, it wasn't a particular designer, just NM's house label, marked down something like 60% or so. There is a ton of stuff out there on sale at NM right now, in literally every damn size I could imagine, even the 48L stuff for the big boys like me.

There was this sweet Cuccinelli down and cashmere vest that was

I finally took measurements of the Lockie v-neck in size 42. They are as follows:

Chest, underarm to underarm: 21.5 inches (43 inches around)
Length, measured down the back: 27 inches
Waist: 17.25 inches across
Sleeves, from center of the back: 36 inches (31.25 inches + 4.75 inch cuffs)

Thank you very much, Sir.

In the meantime, and after srivats' advice, I ordered the McGeorge baroque shetland wool sweater from OConnells. Must arrive this week.

I'd probably go for dark red/maroon first because it is very versatile and goes with many different colors of pants.

I'm not a fan of lambswool because it does feel very scratchy. Cashmere all the way!

is the lambswool you got from O'Connell's the itchy one????

I love the look of one of the O'Connell's V-neck lambswool sweaters but don't want to make the same mistake buying an itchy sweater

anyone?
