What about my outfit attracted so much attention

I wore burgandy dress pants black suit shoes (whatever u call them) a white button up shirt, black tie (not a bow tie) and a red blazer jacket to school today. I tend to dress business casual although I have my more urban days where I'll wear a pair of sneakers and a hoodie or T Shirt or whatever. My film teacher usually compliments my style but today with the red suit it was interesting and he was like are u dressed so amazing cause ur just so amazing and I noded my head and mumbled yeah. Not that many students comment on my outfits except this one white kid who says my style is avant guard or whatever but I had strangers complimenting me, the backpack rapper kids were like ooouu I see u, I like ur fit, although I didn't dress in my PE uniform one of the coaches didn't even care cause he was complimenting me. It kinda reminds me of the time wore gold sneakers and skinny jeans with a white tee and denim jacket. I'm an average looking guy, lightskinned Latino with short cut dark brown hair. But what about my outfit attracted so many people because I had white girls just saying hey and I'm my head I'm like I don't even know u ma. Even the darker kids who pick on me for being lightskinned were like I like the suit and I was like damn even my haters like my outfit. And the dean joked I might have to give u a dress code violation. A lot of people just talked to me and I can be social but usually stick to myself unless I see people I know. If I'm with the squad I'm loud af and I am the best dressed in my crew. They just wear the same hoodies and running shoes all due respect
