Hello
I'm getting my first dress shoes, but I'm not sure what should I get for my Dark Navy suit.
So, I searched and I found out that Allen Edmonds and Loake were just fit in my budget($200~$250). I would like youguys to vote on these three pair of shoes. I don't wear dress shoes that much, I usually wear them only for presentation or interview.

1. Allen Edmonds Park Avenue Dark Brown

2. Herring Shoe Handmade by Loake Knightsbridge Dark Brown

3. Loake 1880 Aldwych Dark Brown

I know there will be size error without trying them in store, but please don't mention the size matter.

Thank you.

The unmentionable size matter is important.

How about some antique burgundy ? It is the best match with a navy suit...
If you do want to stay with brown , you need some dark oak ...

+1...get the first pair in black then get a nice brown pair. As to the shoe sizing issue, when coverting US to UK, you could miss big time. I'm an 8.5D US, that's either a 7 or 7.5 UK; but I wear a 9E in EG and JL, and an 8.5E in GG. You have got to be careful. Talk to a store rep for sizing assistance.

+1 I wear my black dress shoes to interviews, weddings, and funerals. I wear my brown shoes to pretty much anything else. Needless to say, the anything else category outweighs the aforementioned occasions about 20 to 1. Also, Moo, you broke my heart by killing off your Anton Chigurh avatar. I didn't even realize it was you I was quoting until I looked at the name in my quote code. It's just not the same with your Mad Men Yourself avatar. Besides, Mad Men Yourself is a bit overplayed these days. It's on basically everyone and their grandmother's Facebook profile.

If you already have a plain captoe in black like the PA, why not get something different for a second shoe? Maybe a wingtip or floating medallion in burgundy?
