Trickers Eaton in a rare Waxed reverse calf.
UPDATE: Hand re-dye - Matt dark chocolate.
Because it is a reverse calf leather, the dye will continue to lighten and reveal a little of the lighter undercoat. It is quite similar to Mister Freedom's engineer boots.

Built up with black and burgundy polish over time for a complex and deep luscious patina.
The close-up shows the underlay of the original sturdy waxed reverse calf.
I wear a 41 in the Vass F-last and range usually around the UK 8-7.5 for British shoe makers.
Another comparison would be a US 8 in Redwings 875, comfortable even with wool socks.
